I won the Magic Castle's Strolling Showdown, and every Sunday you'll find me behind the Library Bar at the Hollywood Roosevelt for Magic at the Library. Let's be honest. Some corporate entertainment is background noise. A band in the corner, a photo backdrop nobody uses after the first hour.
Close-up sleight of hand is the opposite. It happens inches from a guest's drink, in their own hands, with a few strangers leaning in to see it. Two minutes later those strangers are arguing about how it worked. That's a conversation your team didn't have to force.

Sleight & Spirits: cocktail magic but not old fashioned
Sleight & Spirits is an immersive magical speakeasy where handcrafted cocktails and world-class sleight of hand come together in an unforgettable evening of wonder. It comes in two distinct formats:
- Speakeasy Stage Show. The atmosphere of the speakeasy bar on a theatrical stage. Multiple live cameras project to a larger room, so everyone feels like they're sitting at the bar experiencing it firsthand.
- Speakeasy Experience. An intimate speakeasy with handcrafted cocktails, interactive miracles and unforgettable moments. Guests flow through the bar in small groups, which makes it a perfect social centerpiece.
Both run with or without drink service. One vendor, one contact. The setup is self-contained and fits ballrooms, boardrooms and rooftops.
Strolling close-up, on its own or paired
Strolling is classic walk-around sleight of hand for cocktail hours, receptions and pre-dinner crowds. I move through the room, pull small groups together and get people talking. Book it on its own, or pair it with either Speakeasy format, so the cocktail hour warms up before everyone heads into the main room.
The Mental Refresh for LA conferences
Long conference days wear people down. The Mental Refresh is booked as a session on your agenda, the premium alternative to another keynote or motivational speaker. Attendees step into a speakeasy, lean in close and come back sharper. Use it between breakouts, midweek, or as a networking break.
Hollywood-based, Southern California ready
I was born and raised in Orange County, and I'm vetted nightly at the Magic Castle and the Roosevelt. Questions planners ask
Do you travel outside Los Angeles?
Yes. I'm based in Southern California and cover LA, Orange County, San Diego and Palm Springs, and I travel nationwide for conferences and corporate programs.
How much space do you need?
Very little. Strolling needs nothing but a room full of people. The Speakeasy Experience needs a spot for the bar. The Speakeasy Stage Show needs a stage or platform and a screen for the camera feed. The setup is self-contained and packs small.
How long do you perform?
It's built around your timeline. A cocktail hour, a full reception, or a single session slot on a conference agenda. Tell me the run of show and I'll fit it.
Does it work for mixed or international crowds?
Yes. Close-up sleight of hand happens in people's hands, so it doesn't rely on inside jokes or a single language. I've performed for thousands of people from all over the world.
Can you work alongside our bar or drink service?
Yes. Sleight & Spirits runs with or without drink service. If your venue already has a bar team, I work with them. If not, the format still holds up on its own.
Can we combine formats?
Yes. Strolling pairs with either the Speakeasy Stage Show or the Speakeasy Experience. A common setup is strolling through cocktail hour, then a Speakeasy format later in the night.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you have a date. Weekends and conference season go first, but reach out even on short notice and I'll tell you straight whether it works.
Is this a fit for a high-end client dinner?
Yes. I work table to table between courses without interrupting the meal, so each table gets its own moment.
